Great day on the mountain today! Did some training with some lift operators and had a pleasant day. I can sense spring in the air! This is my favorite time of year in a way. I'm on the down hill side of my long winter season, and all the electrical issues that go along with it! Three more weeks and were closing daily operations. We will remain open on weekends through April, weather permitting. It's been a good season for me. Very few problems at all. Just routine electrical failures that I fix quickly, with little thought or stress! Nice!
I haven't smelled the trees yet, that will be the discerning moment for me, that spring is coming! I'll be riding along on my snowmobile and bang! I smell the Spruce and Fur trees! As it warms up, they begin pulling their sap up from the roots to begin growing again.Can't wait!
